Pleaseeeeeeeeeeee can someone help me to solve this issue??, Ive been trying to play this game for hours now, and no matter what I do, I willways get this freaking error
Im sick of it, I'm about to give up, but I would really like to play this mod...
Ive followed every guide that I could find on how to install the game properly (on this forum, and some others), with the same result. I have even watched some videos on youtube, and it keeps giving me this error, I'm about to explode.

Please DO NOT, ignore me, cuz Ive seen that several other people has posted this error log, and no one ever really answer them, it seems that no one really knows what to do about this particular issue...though Ive seen that someone posted a similar error with this little difference :

Script Error in data/descr_batlle_map_lighting_control txt, at line 9, column 1.

    Expecting reading "min_light_intensity"

It was a 9 instead of a 7, but I think that has something t do with the graphics configuration that he picked up, cuz I have had the same when I changed the resolution on the Launcher. When I change the special bloom effect the number changes from 7 to 9...but I don't know how to fix it...I went to the file called "descr_batlle_map_lighting_control txt" and try to change the values, but since I don't have a clue of what I ws really doing it didn't help at all.

PLEASEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE, help me...I really wanna play this...

    Thanks in advance.

PD, sorry if I wrote anything wrong, I'm from Argentina, and english is not my native language, even though I can understand and express myself very well.

It looks like an installation error.

Are you installing over a clean RTW 1.5?

Yep installation error, and it has been answered in that respect previously. All these errors are the same cause, so tell us how you installed it, that will help.

I had a clean version of RTW 1.5 and I just simply follow all the guides to to install the RS2, but nothing worked...finally, I got very frustated, and I decided to unistall all, delete all the files, and download all over and again to try and reinstall all again, this time I have downloaded the RS2 torrent (last time I had downloaded it with jdownloader), and I'm currently downloading the RTW, by the way does anyone has a healty torrent link to give me?, I can't find a decent one, and it's taking ages to download. Also this time I will install BITW and ALXTW, just to cover all the possibles errors. I hope it works this time...

As for the details of how I install the game, I just followed the guides on this webpage, and some others, and like I said, I even watched some videos on youtube, and done exactly as they said to do it...and nothing worked. There's one thing, though that bothers me...when I installed the 1.5 patch, it shows on the game that I had the 1.5v BUT when I try to unistall the game, windows only recognize the 1.3v, I mean...when I went to start/control panel/add or delete programs I could only see rome total war and rome total war 1.3, the 1.5v was not there...could that be the thing?.

Any way, let me try again once I download the RTW, and I'll let you know how it goes...oh, and one more thing my computer I have this :

    win 7 premium
triple core phenom processor (i dont remember the model right now) I know its 8000 something
    Nvidia Gforce GT 220

Is that good?, will it run with this?

    Thanks!

    Chris.

Yes it will run it, but again RTW was designed with a single core processor. The other two cores you have there will not be used at all.

    Sorry to say

Hello people, it's all good right now, last night I finished downloading the RTW run the installations all over again, and like a magic trick RSII started to function, I'm sure it was that thing with the 1.5 patch that was bothering before...or I don't know...but whatever it was it's solved now. Thanks to the 2 guys who replied to me, and took the time to read my cry for help. I'm really happy now and playing like a madman this master piece. I'ts kinda hard anyways, I mean...all the administration thing, it's really really realistic, and its getting hard for me to get used to it, but I think eventually I will.
Battles are far more real too, troops don't flee so easily, and the character pts (defense, attack, atc) are really shown into the battles, it's really awesome. Great game.

    Cheers!

    Chris.
