Guys, I have a problem too.
When I open the launcher, there's none of the new nations. I thought it could be because I used the launcher of 'Five Good Emperors', so I copy pasted the original launcher (the one from RS2.0's files) and re-copied the launcher file of RS 2.5. I've tried playing as Armenia and it says 'please select an item' on the intro. I can play the one turn campaigns though.
Help would hugely appreciated.![]()
The launcher version included in the 2.5 release is 1.2.2, it should be written in the top lest corner, along with the mod version (2.2β : I forgot to change it to 2.5β when we decided on the 2.5 name).
When you click on the faction, a new window should appear, with 4 tabs, the 3rd one is the swap factions one.
But if you are having the "please select an item" error, it's most likely that something is wrong with your install.
I'd suggest that you reinstall RS2.0, then the 2.5 patch to have a clean install.

Started a 0-turn campaign as Rome but the three new factions weren't there.
Any ideas as to what I may have done wrong?
Oh okay.
I was looking forward to making vassals of them.
I can't seem to save at all in 2.5 even if I have not done a campaign or anything. Both save and load buttons are disable I have to rely on the autosaves instead.

Hi, I cannot join the two convoy of ships into one as usual. Both Admiral doesn't have any command star.
One more question: Why Propraetor of Corsia when reside in Aleria carry -3 Law? Is it bad effect intentionally or an error?![]()
Me again.
Had my third hillfort battle now, and I must say that the bad pathfinding makes playing these battles not much fun. I guess the problem is there is so little space since the units can really only walk in super-small corridors. They can't even use some of the paths which are indicated by the ground texture (the one that leads from the plaza/market to that little field on the opposite side being the most annoying, as much of the fighting takes place near the plaza).
ps: I'm playing with alex.
pps: My (massalian) governor of Eburodunon just got the Engineering Schools trait. That city is neither greek nor has it an academy yet, so I wonder if that is working as intended... It happened, however, the round after I finished my academy in Massalia.![]()

I think the problem is that hillforts are essentially overlaid on other settlement types, this means there are parts, like wooded tiles, that look viable for your movement but actually aren't. You've probably found the cavalry take some "interesting" routes at times. They look great though don't they![]()

I realize that hill forts are supposed to be hard to take, but there are problems with the path finding. These are screenshots of an AI controlled Roman legion trying to enter the town of Genoa, but the individual troops in their units spread everywhere like confused ants.

I also had similar problems when making the effort to move my own troop back into the main square. The units simply do not know where to go.
Crash at 127 SE, Im playing Macedon. I think I have a similar issue with Sparta which had a CTD around the same time. Anyone know how to fix it? Does 2.5 not save compitable with 2.0?
