    Icon9 Explorer guild HQ problem

    Hi i'm new to this forum and this is my first post.
    I'm currently playing as Venice now and try to build all guild HQ in my kingdom. So far i had the Merchant, Theft, Assassin, Mason, Horse Breeder, Achemist and St. Johns HQ. Don't have any Templar (even the Minor chapter - may be i already had St. Johns). But the Explorer guild, I had a master guild in Rennes. I try to upgraded it to HQ but not success. I think the HQ may already in somewhere on the world so i finding it and indeed it was in Baghda which is far from reach so i leave it alone. The problem is the Timurids. They spam right at Baghdad and of course, sacking it to a rebel city. I look again the now Baghdad only had the Explorer guild at basic level which is really strange. So i try upgrade mine again but even after 40 turn of building Merchant whaft series (destroy and repeat), recuirt Merchant non-stop i still don't get it. I even tried cheat process_cq to gain a lot of point at one but still don't get it. Anyone had any idea about this?

    First of all, I find your post mildly confusing.
    Do you want to know strategies for how to get more points with the Explorers guild, so that they will give you offers of Guild House improvements?
    Why are you talking about recruiting merchants in the same sentence as you speak about the Explorers guild? Recruiting merchants and improving trade only gives you points with the Merchants guild (except for upgraded roads, I think)...

    Second of all, itīs pretty impressive to have the Headquarters of both the Masons and Alchemist guild, as well as the Horse breeders (I usually get their guilds, but rarely anything higher than basic chapter houses) Have you used cheat in order to get those?

    And thirdly, the guild HQ getting turned into a basic chapter house when the Timurids took Baghdad is because they probably exterminated the settlement.
    Exterminating a settlement usually causes the buildings to get downgraded or destroyed.

    Destroying buildings that attract guilds is frowned upon by that guild. So i would recommend stop destroying the buildings, and upgrade docks in every city. Plus you can position your navies far away from your capital and you will gain points from the guild

    Sorry if my post was confused. My English is not too good
    To Silverheart: I follow this guild and it's say recuirt merchant add point to the Explorer guild. And i don't cheat at all.
    For the Horse breeder guild. When i took Cairo, i build some broken lance and next turn i offer with the guild. Just set race (Cairo had a sultan race track) and recuirt three broken lance a turn and about 20 turn i had a HQ.
    The achemist is more easier. I had HQ in Rome. Just recuirt three canon unit a turn plus build canon maker series. I don't remember how long it take but i think it was less than 30 turn.
    The Mason guild is truly a nightmare. I had it in Granada. In this i build nothing but barrack and smith. Repeat endlessly. And over 150 turn i get HQ. Thanks to that this place is really undevelopment. It's even don't have a grain exchanger or an inn
    For complete noob I know this but all other settlement already upgraded dork and merchant whaft series to maximum. I know that trade income is the biggest income so i always build these building first.
    And it so frustrating. I focus everything in rennes and don't get HQ while Baghdad, a place can't even build dock, had it first
