NTW won't start.

Hi, Napoleon total war won't start. I can get it past the "preparing to launch part on steam", but it won't the title (the part before the little video). I did install it in the past, and it worked fine. That time i was using the 6450. I then had to uninstall it because I messed it up . After getting a 6850, i reinstalled it and now I am stuck with the stated problem.

Before you reinstalled, did you delete BOTH Napoleon folder? If not, you have leftovers causing problems.

Update the High Definition Audio codecs at www.realtek.com.tw as your version has been known to conflict.

In Devie Manager, disable all the drivers but RealTek's as this has been known to cause problems.

It actually was able to load, just that it took 6 minutes. I figured out it was because my virus protection was doing a scan without notifiying me... it now only takes 10-20 seconds :s

No problem. I've been caught by mine, too.
