    Default Custom Settlements

That's it. I tried to search for this on the forums but did not find it. It's there any planing to make custom settlements for this mod a la Third Age? I just saw a video of the Battle of Moria and my jaw just drooped to the floor... It would be very very fun to have this kind of maps for the darwen kariaks, at least for some.

There are only custom skins for now, both official and fan-made ones.
    No custom settlements for now.

PS.After I saw some new strat-model previews, I think there are some chances for the actual custom settlement in the next CoW version.

I agree. With custom settlements this mod would be insane!

Now, a point to be considered. There are any pictures, models or references of specific cities and castles of Warhammer to do it? I mean, the Third age mod based theirs heavily on the movie, they had that advantage.

Yes there is plenty of material. There are the armybooks. There are miniature books focused on terrain and cites. Also there is warhammer online to be used as an inspiration.

Feinar already did some custom settlement work, check this out:

Unfortunately he dissappeared from the forums some time ago and didn't release any of his work, which is still unfinished, sad thing

Then is pretty clear what we have to do, let's hunt him down and hopefully convince him to finish or hand over his work!

Feinar posted a message on a youtube video saying he didnt have time to finish that project. He posted it like a week ago. He was the only member that was working with the IWTE tool as far as I know. I dont know if he gave what he already have accomplished to the team. Even if it was just a little (no full conversion) still is better than nothing.

Both myself and Kahvipannu plan to learn the IWTE tool. Both too busy working on other projects at the moment.

My first plan will be adding wider areas to the walls near gates as in 1648 for wall mounted artillery.
