MSI GX 660R Hard Drives ?

Hey so here is the thing my hard drives look like they are on their way out now im giving them at least 2-3 months before they completely break.

I have the MSI GX 660R Model and i was basically wondering what hard drives i should purchase as the laptop holds 2x 500 Drives.

My specs are.

Intel I5 Dual Core
AMD 5870M
6GB DDR3
1TB 500GB+500GB RAID 0


Now i know that i need 2x 500gb but really what are my options with the current hard drive tech i have heard rumours that i could buy 2x 1TB hard drives because of the recent reduction in size for laptop drives etc is that all true ?


I have been lucking around but i cant seem to find the appropriate site to ask what disk drives i need for my laptop !.


If anyone can help cheers also i can try and find what drives are currently in my laptop if theirs such a way of doing that hopefully someone can find out what this machine has in it as im not to keen on taking it apart.


I was also going to ask about a keyboard replacement and an overall clean of the system inside and out as its getting hot now.

Close the thread please i found the information out now.

I need 2x 2.5" Drives 2x1TB I opened the laptop up and found out myself within around 15 minutes.
