What faction do you most want added in the 1220 late era campaign?

Factions listed by relevance and durability. For example Chernigov and Suzdal aren't listed as for practical purposes the Rus principalities were brought down by Mongols and we probably don't need 3 separate Rus factions.

I would say either Georgia or the Abba's. I can make pros and cons for either one, but the general feeling I have right now is that area would do better with a faction on either side.

My only worry though is will either one actually do anything in the game, or just be swallowed up by the Mongol horde?

I listed Abassids alot lower in the 1220 poll than the 1100 poll because their reign comes to an end within 50 years of the start date. That is a problem with all the eastern factions in 1220 though. For myself I would be fine with having Abassids, Cumans, and Georgia as the easternmost factions in 1220- let the Mongols invade rebel territories for a few turns as Khwarezmians were practically destroyed on and the run since 1221. If we made it a 1230 start they would be totally gone.

In the late Era Mongols are the big players in the east. I would list Burgundy as the #1 addition in late era myself then Bulgaria.

Early era Georgia followed by Rum or Abassids make the most sense with Serbia somewhere up there as well.

Hmmm, well, couldn't we have all? If you start at 1230, you would be able to take out K-Shah, Sicily, and Kievan Rus just off the top of my head.

I would actually love there to be a drastic change in faction lists between the eras.

I'd rather have a 1260 start date. If you did that, you could have the Il-Khanate in Persia and the Golden Horde in Russia. Would still free up some slots as well.

I prefer a 1250 campaign or even 1270 because it does not make sense to start at 1100 and then only 1220 which is not even using most of the rosters which are using unit slots. 1130 1270 and 1390 or 1450 would be my choices.

1270 would work, much like 1390. In 1270 the Il-Khanate is around, in 1390 you could be the Tirmurids. Very nice

This, I have no idea why the "Late" Campaign is still effectively early.

Chose Second Bulgarian Empire, but would probably prefer Armenian Cilicia.

I would also like a start at about 1270, Golden Horden in Russia, Ilkhanate added, Byzantine Empire unified again, Sweden could be addded and Cilician Armenia, Kievan Rus removed, Cumans removed, Georgia and Wales added, Khwarezmians and Seljuks removed.

Balkans need more love, I know that the Romanian principalities weren't so important at around 1200 so I'll say Bulgaria or Serbia, can't decide

You have good point, I think should add more Pagan, Orthodox or Muslim faction, too many Catholic already

I'd also really like to see Vladimir-Suzdal, because it's the predecessor of the Grand Duchy of Moscow, the kingdom that united all of Russia, made it an empire and basically is the reason why we aren't ruled by Tartars now.
