patches v1.3 and 1.5!

the patches for rtw v1.3 and 1.5 are lagging my computer rather badly, it was better before the modifications were installed. so wat are the mods in patches 1.3 and 1.5 and are they worth installing in the first place?

Those patches are the official patches, they dont install a mod, they simply add some small things and fix others. And yes, they are usually worth installing.

1.3 in the least has the infamous memory leak bug. Depending on how long a session you have at RTW, it tends to start slowing down, lagging, etc. I hadn't encountered it much myself, though *TOUCH WOOD* I have 1.5/1.6 now *TOUCH WOOD*

And the big advantages of 1.5(there is little point in just getting 1.3, you may as well get 1.5 as it fixes most of the memort leak problem)is the improved ai, much better than 1.2, and the fix of the load/save bug.

i have experienced an bug or crash in me RTW 1.5 when i click on a masige where a video should appear: Wonder capture or faction destroyed the game crashes

I recommend V1.3 then V1.5.

If you get video crashes, like above and like I did, then go download and install the latest windows media driver. Thats the technical advice I was given and it worked a treat.
