That's great, I'll make sure to try it out nonetheless

Maurits and others: what are you doing your finals in, out of idle curiousity?
Good luck anyway
Thanks mate
I'm in my final year of grammar school and doing exams in the subjects Dutch, English, French, Latin, History, Economics, Management & Organisation and Maths.
In September I'm going to study History at the university of Leiden.

"Pompeius, after having finished the war against Mithridates, when he went to call at the house of Poseidonios, the famous teacher of philosophy, forbade the lictor to knock at the door, as was the usual custom, and he, to whom both the eastern and the western world had yielded submission, ordered the fasces to be lowered before the door of science."
Pliny the Elder, Naturalis Historia, 7, 112
I have now 7 on my university, one of them alredy done

Just the end of semester. I made my final exams of high school a year ago (five subjects, four obligatory, one voluntary). Thanks
"Lay these words to heart, Lucilius, that you may scorn the pleasure which comes from the applause of the majority. Many men praise you; but have you any reason for being pleased with yourself, if you are a person whom the many can understand?" - Lucius Annaeus Seneca -

Latin - I did Latin at school. But it was so long ago I think it was still a 'live' language then
I think Catulus was even at our school
His poetry was terrible though...
Now where abouts is Leiden? Aaaah - I see it (on Google maps), over near the coast.
I've been to Holland a couple of times, over near Monchen-Gladbach/Rheindalen/Wildenrath. Just on visits though. I've been to Venlo and a small place called Overloon. My great-Uncle was there, in 1944. Quite a place.
Have fun doing History. Whatever you do don't do Engineering - the pay's cr@p
Cheers,
B
It is more cosmetic issue but script still shows the capital in Lusitani in Belgica.

Launch Rome: Total War Gold by double-clicking it in the My Games menu

Again yes, i had this problem last time i installed RTR if i remember correctly, and then when it didnt do that it just launched BI instead, then it would start working fine, then it wouldnt find steam again and then the process would just start over.
Some people at the Steam forums say that one should delete the file 'clientRegistry.blob' in order to solve these issues

Hi all, I too have experienced this problem, is there anyway around it apart from waiting for the new patch? I've managed to entice one of the generals split from his evil twin and attack me, but to my dismay I still encounter a CTD once the battle is over (only when he is killed though, if he escapes the game still works fine).
I understand there was a similar bug in FOE or TIC, was there any in-game solutions to the problem? Do assassins work? How about waiting for them to both die off of old age ? They are lookin pretty old, might give that a go next.
Anyway, I am thoroughly enjoyin the mod, as I have done with all the mods from the RTR team I've played. Can't believe the mileage you guys have given me out of my scratched old copy of RTW! This one definitely takes the prize though. Great work guys
Unfortunately, the game will crash as soon as one of the 'clones' dies
