Greetings from Colombia and excuse the bad English.
I also encounter this problem when besieging Henna in my Epeiros campaign even with hotfix installed.

Like it looks now it will be a month at most, I hope to have those issues fixed much sooner. I don't want to release the patch without those wall files being added or the environment issue solved.

@Dem: I'll ask Muizer to take a look at it again. It might be sth with the Greek mini-regions.

I've uploaded another fix for the forest around settlements. I'm sorry it's a bit of "trial and error". It wouldn't be too hard to remove all forest near settlements, but I would prefer to preserve as much of the original landscape as possible.

Thanks Muizer! This will be included in the next patch, but it might be possible to update the hotfix, too.

Infantry units that are good against elephants and the elephants of Pyrrhus I have slaughtered three Roman armies and finally had to use ballista to defeat them.

Not sure if this is a bug or not but I'm finding it very difficult to get any leaders to last past the age of 62. I had hoped that they last a bit longer than this. And they always seem to conk out at just the wrong moment

Is this adjustable anywhere? ie, in which file does it specify the percentage chance that a character will die of old age at turn end?

Thanks for any comments / guidance,

    B

They've always died at that point in RTW, in my experience. It is the rare leader that lives much past then.

I have noticed inconsistent use of the name Aecid/Aiakides. Althought, the faction name is Dynasty of Aiakides Pyrrhos and his son Ptolemy use Aecid as a part of their names.

When speaking about sons of Pyrrhos, why Alexandros and Helenos are not in game? I now that Aiakid faction have quite a lot of characters yet but I think at least Alexandros II the succesor of Pyrrhos as a king of Epeiros could be there.

In English speaking literatur it seems always to be the case that Latin or Latinized names are used, even of Greek names or cities (like Lacedaemum/Lacedaemum or Pyrrhus) so that was probably why the mod team also went for Latin forms. I try to avoid them as we are rarely doing it in German and it seems a bit like a Roman bias

We did have a long discussion about it, but in the end we decided that the Greek sphere of influence would be Greek (hence Syrakousai, Athenai, Korinthos). So that's an oversight... well spotted

Playing as Antigonos, always starts with 13 family members, one of which is in the family tree(along with wife and 1-year-old child).

Yes, that is correct. It wouldn't be accurate to have random generals as Antigonos' relatives.

Hi all, I am writing to bother you with 2 questions.
    1. Is there any way that the hoplites also use the sword?
    2. Which unit of infantry is good to beat elephants?

    Thank you for your attention.
    Greetings.

You should try to hold them off with spearmen- favourably well armoured ones- and attack them with javelinmen and mounted javelinmen, because that weapon is the most effective against elephants- as far as I know

Unfortunately no. I haven't tried it myself, but I have heard from reliable sources that it is possible to do, except that it causes all sorts of glitches.

Thanks, I didn't understand how it was supposed to work obviously.

I have another question. Started a new game as SPQR, and after my butt handed to me in the opening battle, I saved. Loaded it tonight and there's no 'fog of war' on. I can see everything on the map.

Am I missing something obvious here? Maybe I inadvertently changed some setting somewhere? I couldn't see the whole map before I saved it.
