A Chinese Preview of Kara-Khitai??????

I have found this pics of Kara Khitai units in a chinese forum: http://game.ali213.net/thread-2315468-1-1.html
The introduction in Chinese says (using the google translator) that units are of the future version 2.0 of the Broken Crescent mod! And besides, the post is of 2008.
Also there are Mongol units of Broken Crescent. So this is a chinese preview of Kara-Khitai faction or a submod??

In Broken Crescent you will see Kara Khitay made by Yelü Dashi, creator of BC Mongols. I know nothing about any Chinese preview of any units made for BC, so maybe that's a submod or something. And those are not BC Mongols, though they look a bit similar. And 2.0 has been released quite a while ago without any KK in it, so...

Those models/skins are rendered in really low resolution. It's hard to tell if it's the original poster's computer or the actual skins themselves, but they don't look very good. Some are also way too uniform, like RTW units (or some other MTW2 mods I know of) with little/no variance.

But some of their facial, hair, clothing, armor and weapon visuals (and ideas) seem to be very good, except their low textures.

Some yes, the artist did some cool things like the fur quivers and some of the fabrics are great. But overall they are not up to the standard set by other BC units.
