    Default How to scale resolution?

Hi guys, I just bought a new VGA - Radeon 6670 1GB. And I'm using my 24 inch TV as a monitor for my PC. The games with my PC specifications aren't too smoothly with the native resolution (which is 1920x1080), so I want to lower it.
But if I lower it, the screen just gets blured, the colours are awful and so on.
With my older VGA (some integrated made by Intel) there was an option in the Control Center to choose aspect ratio.
I can't see anything like this in the Catalyst Control Center. How do I make resolution scaling?

I'll add you on Facebook if you solve this!

set your res to 1280x720 that simple

your screen is 16:9 so use a 16:9 ratio

most LCDs suck at any resolution thats not native, its a side affect of the tech,

CRT (cathode ray tube) you know those giant old PC monitors, yea they look good at all resolutions they can display,
LCD its pretty much native res for best image quality anything else depends on the quality of the panel etc cheap tv means cheap panel
    as for resolution

Right click the desktop if using Windows 7 choose screen resolution select 1280x720 click apply problem solved.

    Thanks for your reply.

If I set to 1280x720, only the top and the bottom of the screen got the edges cut off, the sides are straining the screen so the screen is very blury. anyways, this kind of resolution is a bit too small for me, 1600x900 would be perfect.

then mess with the settings in catalyst control center, or look inside your TVs menu for 1:1 pixel mapping etc,

Some HDTVs dont play nice period with PC hardware if not running their native resolution, most of the time the issue is related to HDMI,

If your luck and your TV uses DVI, use DVI instead, or VGA if you need a quick fix,

and ill tell you right now having used a 6670 your going to want to run 1280x720 to playable frame rates, no way around it,

6670 performance wise is pretty much 8800GTX performance from 6 years ago, its nothing special,

anyway look in your TVs settings for a 1:1 option or check the manual,

my samsung was much the same way everything was cut off or didnt fit the screen properly untill I enabled 1:1 pixel mapping my HDTV's default configuration menu
