What Version do I have?

I bought Rome Total War with Barbarian Invasion on a download about 3 weeks ago. How do I check on which version I have? I believe it was the Gold pack, which I guess is 6.0 Gold but is this 1.5? Where do i find this? Thank you.

When you've bought the gold edition you'll probably have RTW 1.5 and BI 1.6 (the most recent versions CA released). You should be able to see this in the game menu, in one of the corners if I'm right

Thanks. It was in the right hand corner on the options page. I do have RTW 1.5. I guess I am good to go to download RTR Gold or Platinum. Thanks again.

You could download RTR Platinum

When you've got BI too, though, I'd advise to look into the newer and more challenging RTR VII series.

RTR Gold will not work. It's for RTW 1.2

Hello guys,

I followed your intructions to have RTR VII with patch 2a and its hotfix (from march 17, 2012)

When I have a look into the options (RTR VII is ok when launched and hotfix 1 is written in yellow at the top hand-right corner), it's written "1.6" at the top hand-right corner

How could I be sure to have this 2a patch and its hotfix well installed ?

RTW and BI are of course official versions (retail) and BI is well patched to 1.6

If it did not crash by the time you start a new campaign and manage to start (or the script started) then it's well installed.
