Hey whenever I start Rome(on steam) a small box appears and it says "steam cant be found" and then it just goes away and nothing happens. Can anyone help me?

Assuming Vista or Win7, have you tried "Run as Administrator"?

If that is happening and you are trying to start from a shortcut, then you need to go into steam and start it directly from there, and when I get on my computer that has the correct shortcut directory I'll get it up here ASAP.

Yeah, I also tried reinstalling the game, three times, but it still doesent work...

I am running it directly via steam.

Do you have Steam's icon set up "Run as Administrator"?

Did you install a new program for anti-virus, that may be blocking steam from connecting, or try running it in offline mod.

None of them worked :/ In the errorlog it says a lot of files are missing, but when I can find them myself so I dont see why the computer has an error and says it cant find Steam...

Then go into steam and verify integrity of game files, if that doesn't work then un install and reinstall and then if that doesn't work my bag of tricks to fix your game (or try) have run out...

Ah thanks! Ofcourse, I always do that, but I suddenly forgot about that option
