I installed 3D Mark11 and ran the tests. Here is my score. What does it mean?

simple it means thats how your PC performs and your specs show your PC's gaming performance to be roughly where it should be in relation to other PCs running similar specs.

It's odd I got such low scores here but get ~60FPS on Perfected DOOM 3 (High Settings), ~60 FPS on StarCraft II (High Settings), and ~85FPS on F.E.A.R. (Max Settings).
The PC Health Check says I am exceeding the target scores for my computer, though.
Your Hardware:

Combined Score = P2558 Target Score = P2400
On a side note, thanks for the advice on the PSU, this Corsair GS500 is very cool and quiet.

uh maybe because Doom3 is nearly 8 years old, and 3DMARK 11 is from 2011, and runs DX11 not DX9 etc lulz
theres no correlation, between how each will run on your hardware, again one game is 8 years old the other is a PC benchmark ment to stress high end components, and was released last year.

tbh i dont bother with 3dmarks but i do run the odd benchmark like res evil 5 or aliens v predator.
no better way of testing your perf though really other than using a monitoring app like afterburner and seeing your own fps in-game.
more usefull to me are things like prime95/ibt/occt/realtemp/coretemp/hwmonitor and a disk defragger.
however there is no harm in running a 3dmark or something like unigame but dont take them to literally that's all...
some excellent stuff found over here
http://downloads.guru3d.com/
I benchmark against Alien vs Predator Classic.
That said, you're better off just making some quick in-head calculations based on your rig. Benchmarks won't tell you anything new. (Though they are fun.)

actually res evil 5 and aliens v predator are pretty solid benches one on dx9 and the other in dx11. res evil5 is one i always turn 2...if your current setup cant run that silky smooth with no hiccups then you have trouble...
try em both can be found over at guru...
some people love getting higher scores on 3dmarks. not into it myself..
I installed the AVP DX11 benchmark tool. The results are below:
