Default Your favourite Lethal Weapon movie

    Greetings, fellow movie fans!

It's hard to believe how many years passed by already, but this month marks the 25th anniversary of the release of Lethal Weapon, a true benchmark in 'buddy cop' films and among action comedies in general. The original movie was a huge hit and was followed up by three sequels, all of which were also enormously successful at the box office.

To celebrate this nice occasion, I invite everyone to share their stories and opinions about the series here, and similarly to my Indiana Jones thread, I also made a poll to see which one of the four movies is the most liked by us.
Please vote and let us know your thoughts, folks!
(But only if you are not too old for this s!)

He would be indeed (he was already 'too old' 25 years ago! ) but let us hope they won't ruin their legacy with a totally unnecessary sequel.

    I think it's kinda strange...

Isn't it usually the first one of a series that is preferred by most people?
Well, not always, but anyway, this doesn't seem to be the case here
Although, not many people have voted yet...

Sometimes a sequel is indeed better than the first film of the series, but as you said, the opposite more usual. Which one is the case with LW is up for debate, but if you ask me, the sequels were more accomplished movies in this series (I actually voted for the third one).

The first movie is my favorite. I like them all to be honest with the exception of the one with Jet Li. That was just dumb.

I just look at the villains from the movies.

Gary Busey (Great as Mr. Joshua)

Hans from Mighty Ducks( DIPLOMATIC IMMUNITY!)

    Marek from No Escape

    Jet Li

1,2,4,3. Didn't care for the 3rd one as much. Chris Rock in the 4th was meh, but I enjoyed the movie overall, plus 2 American Cops beat up Jet Li,whats not to love about that?

The 1st one was easily the best although the 2nd was very good for a sequel.(The 1st one also had Al Leong
"washing" Riggs just to put it over the top.)

Yeah, impressive list for sure. The bad guy from the 3rd movie is actually the weakest link among these, but he's not the reason why I prefer that movie.
However, it also has to be said that Jet Li's fight scenes in part 4 are first class - it's almost unbelievable how fast movement does this guy possess.

It was twice as funny because all the Jet Li fans were pissed that 2 old cops bested there god like fighter. He always wins(even in that movie were there 2 of him, he still kicked everyones ass off the top of that pyramid thing at the end) so it was nice to see him lose.

It's certainly far-fetched, yet after all the moves he performs throughout the movie, you get the feeling he's capable of doing that.
Either way, you may see several other inconceivable moments in the series, but if you're an LW fan then you are just okay with them.
