patching problem with alx

i have installed rtw gold edition. two years ago i had also installed alexander expansion but i deleted it completely. today i want to reinstall alx, but the install shield told me, there already is an alx installation. but thats not true. i deleted the registry entries for rome and alx, hoping that this would be the solution.

but now, the install shield cant find the 1.5 and 1.6 patch.

but i still use gold edition and it works fine.

any ideas for solving that problem?

oh i have forgot to mention, that i use vista.

The fastest fix would be to reinstall the Gold Edition.

good point. but when i look in my system control i cant find anymore rtw or bi. maybe it has something to do with the manual deleted registry entry of rtw. i can delete the whole rtw folder but that would not be the same as uninstall the game completely.
