    Icon5 Save game locations

    Hey
I am planning on doing a LAN Hotseat Campaign, and am trying to make the save location for hotseat saves (and all saves if need be) on a networked drive, so all each player has to do is save the game after their turn and the other player then loads it. However, I cannot find the save location of any saves (except original Medieval saves, which of course are no use).
    Thanks in advance, deatheam 15.

They are located in your main M2TW folder/mods/Third_Age_3/saves
Under the patronage of Finlander. Once patron to someone, no longer.
    Content's well good, innit.

That folder doesn't seem to exist for me :/ I go to 'C:\Program Files (x86)\SEGA\Medieval II Total War\mods\Third_Age_3', but the only folders in there are 'data' and preferences. Thanks.

It should create itself as soon as you save a game

Do you have Win 7? The saves might be located somewhere else, I don't know

Did you disable UAC before you installed TATW as recommended? If not then the files will probably be in a hidden folder, try this path after enabling the viewing of hidden folders:
C:\Users\<yourusername>\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files (x86)\SEGA\Medieval II Total War\mods\Third_Age_3\saves, or something along this line.
Not sure about the exact path because I disabled UAC for the M2TW folder before I installed any mods and it has made life much easier.
Also, is this a boxed or Steam version?

Exactly how would you enable the viewing of hidden folders? I can't find my replays!! I think it is because I use windows VISTA.

Hi there and welcome to TWC forums!
Well, the link our knight of meh gave you does contain great info about Virtual store, however, the pictures for unhiding hidden folders are not there anymore, obviously OP deleted them from his image host site.

This is how to unhide hidden folders:

On your DESKTOP, click on START in the bottom left corner, in ˝Search Programs and Files˝, type in Folder Options, click on Folder Options, go to VIEW section, and in ˝Hidden files and folders˝ check the box next to ˝SHOW hidden files, folders or drives˝. Apply, and OK.
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
American, French, Israeli and British government's ILLEGAL aggression against the Syrian people, without any proof for chemical attacks in Douma, and without waiting for OPCW to conduct their investigation..
Sons of *******, leave that poor, war torn country in peace.
If you are a citizen of one of these countries, then DO NOT ask any help from me on these forums, since, in protest against this aggression by your governments, I do not provide assistance/help anymore.
Let Syria be finally in peace.

Bingo, that's the path. Thanks very much And no I didn't disable UAC control and it's a boxed version, so i'm guessing the UAC will be why it's stored where it is .

Unless of course you uninstalled samedi's mod, I cannot explain it. Also could someone explain to me a possible way for changing the location where Third Age Total war loads games from? Thanks

Haha, sounds like it Ah it's alright, i've found a program (mklink) which fools the computer into thinking folders are in one place when in fact they are in another.
