Default Weird Trait for a Princess

So I was playing Medieval total war 2 playing as Scotland. And I happened to have two princess at one time. I believe they where twins. Well one of them had a trait that said " Prefers Woman ". I never seen this trait before Nor did I think it could appear. The other one had " Suggestive " Which pretty much means she like Carnal Pleasures. But the " Prefers Woman " Trait is just odd.

It also gets even odder as I get a marriage Request for one of them to marry someone that is Related to her. Same last name and everything and it was 100 percent and he was not a general. So that was even weirder. How could she marry him then if they share the same last name and come from the same family pretty much. And Regardless it was family member not a general.

Also Apparently my priest got promoted to Cardinal even though i was excommunicated.

So has this ever happen to anyone before. I was playing Vanilla Medieval total war 2

It's just the female version of the "likes embracing men" trait line that a surprising number of generals end up getting.

Character names are somewhat random, and I doubt there is anything in the coding to prevent a surname being re-used when a new character is generated, so its perfectly possible that the name was just coincidental

The faction leader is the one who is excommunicated, the priests are still agents of the catholic faith and will get promoted as and when it becomes possible.

I think he got a mission from the Council of nobles for his princess to marry another family member (I get those missions too); yes, they have the same name because probably, or for sure, they are cousins; in MTW2 you can't marry brothers but you can marry cousins between them, and the rate is always 100% in this case

Strange.. I thought Excommucated meant by whole faction was. Hence why people hate it after a while.

Which makes this Situration even Weirder. I had 2 princess. One of them I got a mission for and also someone wanted her hand in marraige. So seeing that hand in marraige Request came before the Council mission she was married off and I failed the mission. But the other princess was not getting married off so I sent her to the city and it came up with 100 percent marriage. Yet this is not the one the council wanted to be married for a Dowy. But yet it happened and she married the person that her sister was suppose to marry. Although it say I failed the mission.

So I am guessing because they where twins. I guess it did not matter. As the man in question still got married to one of his cousins. Was just weird.. It never happened to me before. In all my campaigns that was the first that i was asked by the council to marry one of the princess off to a family member.

Which why after they where married. Did he not get Royal Ties trait. Is that because they where cousins ?

LOL, you don't have a strait princess, if you want to arrange marriages, you might want to use the other one. About the Cardinal thing, yeah, never really payed any attention to it, but I know I got excommunicated when I owned over half the college off cardinals.

exactly, you can arrange marriages in your family whenever you want, you don't need to get a mission from the council of nobles in order to do so; also, in your family it's always 100%

cousin marriages are no problem. their offspring might get the "inbred" trait though

What affect does the inbred trait have ? What are the chances of getting it if a princess marries a cousin

Only moderators can do that, but they usually only do that if the tread has been derailed or spammed excessively.

There is a "DykeWoman" character trait heading in the export_desc_character_traits file; the second (and last) level is "Prefers_Women" and has a -1 effect on charm and -5 on fertility. It is preceded by the "Potentially_Confused" level. If you want to remove it you must select the princess when she is in the country side and type in: remove_trait this PrefersWomen

    She's a witch. Burn her.
Jon had taken Donal and Benjen’s advice to heart: Sam may be fat and pathetic, but he is still a member of the watch, and one of the few black brothers who isn't a rapist or thief. (out of context, this sounds ridiculously racist)
