Unlike M&B, I believe this will only be multiplayer. But it does look good, I'll pick it up if the price is right.

From what I herd of the game it will have a single player campaign or something like that. Either way it looks good and would probably be a good place to make a game of thrones mod. Total war is for the commanders and War of the roses for the common warriors

yup! this was in he description of the video:

The focus of the core gameplay is on the Multiplayer experience, but we will have an engaging and immersive story driven single player campaign designed to prepare and train players for the multiplayer experience. The single player campaign will give the players direct rewards to use in the multiplayer battles.

And a single player campaign is all thats required to make a GoT mod

Hopefully one can disable those tacky looking motion blurs on the arrows and quarrels!

Both as a publisher and developer Paradox are going strength to strength.

The only horrible thing I see is multiplayer...

But if that's where M&B2 will be going, bring it on. Really nice graphics though more fluid combat may be desirable... hard to judge when you can't play it.

For this kind of animation/graphics to be in a M&B2, you would need a damn super computer, since the PC would have to handle each unit individually, add to that the combat animations, etc... graphics... thats a lot to handle, and since every one loves the +number of units in battlefield, any pc would blow up

For multiplayer it only matter the graphics so thats more reachable.

I do like the more realistic combat system and animations, hey at least they're not wielding 20 tons swords and swinging them like they're paper dolls. And i love 1 thing: when a guy gets hit by a xbow he truly is knocked back, at least in short range, that holds very true

Sucks that my PC is not even good nuff for m&b warband, even less for this lol
