    Default Religion conver.

    I need to create script that allows you to convert from religion to other religion. Can some1 help?

    Take a look at the Teutonic Campaign campaign script. It is labeled in there about Lithuania converting to Catholic.

    set_religion is the command.

    set_religion england islam

    It is as simple as that to change it. Whether it has ongoing consequences is another matter. e.g. The Brittania campaign uses religion levels as conditions for recruitment and they are written with the 'correct' religion in mind. So if you change it then as that faction's regions move away from its 'correct' religion to the new one you will be able to recruit less and less units.

    After the switch you can also use this...

    change_population_religion england islam 50 catholic

    ..to instantly shift the religion level of all regions towards to the new religion. You don't need to but without it you will probably have a lot of religious unrest in your regions which could lead to revolts.

    What file i'm supposed to change. And is it possible when native american's convert from their religion to catholic that then they can have ships?

    Afaik, religions don't recruit units, buildings do that. As Withwnar pointed out, you can use religion levels as conditions for recruitment. So i guess you need to mod the export_descr_buildings accordingly.


    As i'm still a newb to all this stuff, it's very possible that i've said something wrong though

    No, i don't have teutonic campaign i only have Crusades.

    Can i use religion levels as conditions for building buildings?

    If you have Crusades, you have Teutonic as both are Kingdoms campaigns. The easiest way is install it if you have not done so.

    No i don't have. When i installed Kingdoms i selected only Crusades.

    Well, put the iisc back in and install Teutonic or uninstall Crusades and then install all of them as it looks like you are going to need them. Be sure to patch to 1.5 afterwards.

    What you are looking for is in its campaign_script.txt. Exactly what, part,I don't know.
