    Default external DVD/RW

    Hey,

    I need a new external DVD/RW for my wifes laptop which is a mini-laptop without a built-in drive. Just needs to be able to read cd's into iTunes and also to backup her system to a DVD.

    There is a weekly computer fair near where I live (NEC in Birmingham UK) so really just some idea on manufacturers to trust - don't want to pay much as it will not be used much, I just need it to plug in to USB and work well so I was planning to go along tomorrow and have a look around as I can probably get one reasonably cheaply there.
