Change hero/general name?

any possibility to change character name in game? I would like to introduce ludwig schwarzenhelm there. tried to change starting general name in reikland (in desc strat file), but campaign didnt started any tips how to change it?

you gotta edit the descr_names file in the data folder and the names.txt in the text folder. in descr_names go to hre(reikland) and add ludwig to names and scharzhelm in surnames.
now go to names.txt and add the names in the manner that you see there. remember that they way you spell the name in descr_names must be EXACTLY the same in a space that is bracketed with these, {}.
so in names.txt it should look something like this:
{ludwig} Ludwig
{Schwarzhelm} Schwarzhelm
