I have a simple question:
What do the attributes Purity, HeresyImmunity and Violence do? I never figured this one out.

It definitely doesn't increase their piety. It has no effect. But I suppose that they affect piety in certain situations. Eligibility probably increases piety when the Pope dies, while Unorthodoxy decreases it when it comes to heretics. But I couldn't figur out what the other attributes stand for.
In lack of better responses, i'll say that i've heard that the more Violence the Pope has, the more eager he is to declare crusades, and maybe he also cares less when catholics fight against eachother.
For Purity and HeresyImmunity, i guess they make priests more resistant to becoming heretics.
I wish i was sure about that stuff though.

I found the answer for Violence and Purity. Violence indeed makes popes likelier to agree to crusades. Purity affects the standing in the Cardinals collegium and makes your priests likelier to survive the Inquisition and heretics. Only HeresyImmunity left...
But Unorthodoxy can become negative AFAIK, so what good does an aditional attribute with the same effects do? I suppose you are right with that, but does this make sense together with Unorthodoxy?
HeresyImmunity is an hidden trait usually while Unorthodoxy is definitively negative, it's the amount of "corruption" the priest has, the more he became unorthodox, the easier will be to become heretic. If the priest has HeresyImmunity, he will never become an heretic.
This is indeed interesting. Thanks.+rep
