All factions Playable

Hi I would like to know how to set all faction playable, on BI and RTW too. Thanks for help

For Rome:Total War, go to rome total war files-->data-->world-->maps-->campaign-->imperial_campaign-->descr_strat. You'll see a list of all factions, placed under- "playable", "unlockable", and "non-playable". Obviously, you can unlock those in the second part. Just move whichever factions you want to play in the "playable" list.

Not too sure for BI, but I'm guessing it's the same deal in the respective files.

Remember, you can have no more than 20 factions in the playable section, also in BI some of the factions are emergent and therefore unable to be played.

Thanks guys, but my problem is that i don't know how to change descry_strat file on mac book... i know how to do it on windows but not on mac.. But thanks for help...

Ooh on macbook you need a certain program, the search function should give you a general pointer.

When I try to change my descr_strat file it says access denied... I'm running Win7 and I should have administrator privileges.

Drag the descr_strat file to your desktop. Made the changes, then edit the name of the file. Drag it back into your RTW directory, and rename it descr_strat

Sweet, it worked. Is the "slave" faction the Rebels?

Yes the slave factions is the rebel faction and one of the funniest!

It's ridiculous. The rebel units have no morale .

No, they don't. I recently started a campaign as them, but I quit because it was so boring, because all my units sucked.
