Dale Visual armor upgrades ideas?

Hello to any one who reads this. I think it would be lovely if someone where to create some actual visual representation of armor upgrades for the Kingdom of Dale, for example when upgrading Dalesmen with chainmail or Hearth Watchmen with leather it would look much better if the result would also be visual. Same goes for the other more slightly armored units. Now I don't how they should be represented, but I did found this amazing sketch from someone modding Mount&Blade. Again I have no skill at this so it's up to any else who wants to take a crack at it. Thank you for reading.

ALHIMIK, that artist that so many useful sketches, if I do say so myself, only wish I could mod so I could do this myself.

I've been thinking of making armour upgrades for some Dale units, but at the moment I'm involved in too much

Everybody can mod. There are plenty of step by step tutorials. Take a look here. Maybe this can inspire you and you can start your own submod. All submods come from people who want something different for themselves. They eventually just share what they created releasing their own mods, submods, etc. Even the mighty KK started just like you with zero modding knowledge. Also there are lots of free software utilities that can be used. Chances are you wont even need to spend money.

Thanks, I'm not sure how to do it as yet, which files do you need to edit? Didn't want to mess around with modeldb too much just yet. Also I'm not too sure when additional upgrade levels are appropriate gameplay wise, I just like making eye candy.

I liked those upgrades although the male Dalesmen really could use a new metal cap along with the mail.
