No Provincial Campaign

I have tried searching for results on this forum and others and have found no solution to my problem. I have uninstalled the game completely, reinstalled and patched it with RomeTW_1.2_Patch.exe, then installed RomeTotalRealism_v6_full.exe, RomeTotalRealism_6.2_Patch.exe, and RomeTotalRealism_6.2_Music_Addon.exe.

I am also using JSGME and all the files are placed in MODS folder in a subdirectory with no problems and enabled. The game loads fine with the new video and everything but when i click on single player there is the option of campaign, historical and custom. I have changed the FIRST_TIME_PLAY:FALSE to false and still nothing. I have reinstalled a few times and nothing seems to work and i have also tried this with the Gold 6.0.

I don't think RTR has the options of provincial campaigns unless you have another one in the maps/campaign folder. There is also no prologue and quick battle because those are disabled, only enabling you to make custom battles, play historical battles, and the regular campaign. I hope I've helped you some. :-)

Ahhh i see....

But what is all this talk i here about provincial campaign and i am still not able to play the campaign even with a "Copy of Data" folder which i did but i think was unecessary to do.

Have you tried playing the Imperial campaign yet? I am fairly sure with RTR 6.x there is no need for the provincial campaign, therefore the modded campaign is the regular one in RTR...

I stated that I could not play the campaign but, I will elaborate. Whenever I go into single player and I only see New Campaign, Historical Battles, and Custom. When I clicked on New Campaign it would say select the item on the menu and would send me back to the main menu.

Edit: I am unable to play historical battles, and custom battles also. RTR does not seem to work for me.

Try downloading RTR Gold from http://www.rometotalrealism.org/download.html

Yes I have downloaded it from there doing all the installation steps many times. I think there is a small possibility it could be the problem with the MOD switcher JSGME but, when i click on new campaign it doesn't close the game, a message pops up and says select the item on the menu and would send me back to the main menu.

Well that sounds that you have the incorrect patch installed, its a fairly common error related to that.

Well which patch should i install 1.5?

If you're going to play RTR 6.0 Gold, you need to install patch 1.2 for RTW. It will not work with newer patch (1.3 or 1.5)

However, if you're planning to play RTRPE which is RTR Gold converted to RTW 1.5 you'll need RTW patch to 1.3 + 1.5 or RTW/BI patch to 1.6
