    Default Disable Priest conversion ability

    As the title said, it is possible to disable the priest conversion so they will only be agent wandering around and still be cardinal and be elected?

    Regards.

    i guess it should be somthing in descr_campaign_db

    would you be kind enough to report back if you find it ?
    i'd be interested too..would be cool to have cardinals and pope elections, without the annoying religion changing and burnings

    More specifically, I guess in these lines...
    Code:
          <priest_conversion_rate_modifier float="0.004"/>
          <priest_conversion_rate_offset float="0.015"/>
    You can also remove their ability to denounce heretics from descr_character (i guess it works, haven't tried it)

    I dunno, it seems unnatural to me... religion conversion is part of the strategy...

    I just took a look in the file you talked about (not that i hadn't done that before) and just made a guess... I did not give any solution... So no need to thank me
    ok, maybe i talked about one more little file, but still...

    Ok, but maybe you'll have to find something to counter public order issues when conquering regions where the majority of the population is of another religion than your faction.

    Default Re: Disable Priest conversion ability [Solved]

    OK found what I seek, basically I need to change those lines

    <priest_conversion_rate_modifier float="0.004"/>
    <priest_conversion_rate_offset float="0.015"/>

    And change their values to this

    <priest_conversion_rate_modifier float="0"/>
    <priest_conversion_rate_offset float="0"/>

    Now the priest do not convert anymore.

    Glad you have this solved, thanks for letting us know, and nice that our guesses weren't far-off
