No desktop icon after installing 1.4

Can someone help me. I installed 1.4 but it didn't add and icon to my desktop. I would like to add an icon and where to target so I can play the game.I would appreciate a little help. Thanks.

I had the same problem. You have to click on the bat data in the data folder.

You don't need an icon per-say. What I did, and it worked, was pasting; @CloudsAcrossEurope.cfg in the properties, and then just enter it by normal means. Note, your game needs to be patched to 1.2

I did that and it didnt fix my CTD issue like i hoped it would, can you help?
