That city looks under siege to me. Only one faction can lay siege to a settlement at a time unless they're allies IIRC, so the other armies are just biding their time, waiting for the outcome of the battle.

Yeah, it looks like Sicily is besieging the settlement.
Exactly why all the other factions found it necessary to make the trip there at the same time I don´t know - I´ve never seen Milan make a move in that direction before...

It's not a crusade aftermath by any chance is it? The Pope is there as well which suggests you have been upsetting the catholics rather a lot

I have not encounter smth like this yet...I don't know what did cause it...Perhaps a Crusade or Jihad?
But I would love this to happen in my game too,and slay all these stacks...The battles would be epic

They are besieging, but that started just a turn ago, they had been there for many turns before then

It's a pathfinding error. All those armies went out to attack that city before one of them besieged it, and now they'll just hang around till it's over. They may even attack Venice if they don't like the new owner.

    Because the Moors are Catholic.

I think the poster is the Moors, so a crusade is a good guess, but I have seen all those factions go after Valencia before.
