When you choose to see your settlement where it loads and you can see your people walking about what is the point of this?

To seee your cool little town/city during the day. Yeah, no point really, no advantages, but its cool to see all your little people and all the building when they are not getting blown away in batte.

It's fun to see how your little town rised to be a great city that all envy!

also it lets you get to know the town and plan counter attacks and such in seiges even though you can do that he deployment but i like to look round the city before any seige

No point, but to see your city from the inside. I just like it, because i like to look at the cool buildings around

The point is to see your town progress and the populace living inside it. I really don't use it though. Maybe if the load times were alittle shorter. I just wish CA would have made it so that we are able to see the people live through their everyday lives instead of just watching them walking or running around.

Well it is still pretty cool nonetheless. You know, some mods out there have made it so there are soldiers, generals, dogs, horses, and elephants roaming the streets of town. Makes it even cooler to look at!
