Re: lol, Byzantine across Europe
It is indeed Chiv (fairly obvious by looking at what subforum it's in). Maybe, though, Gillam wanted to know if Brutus was playing with a submod e.g. daud.fr's mod (which makes expansion easier).
Either way, what is for certain is that Byzantium is currently too strong. That's going to be changed.

Re: lol, Byzantine across Europe
Factions like Thrace, Illyria, Macedonia and Dacia always tend to expand northwards no the mods I've played (EB, RTR). Maybe it should get harder for Byzantium to conquer above the Danube.

Re: lol, Byzantine across Europe
I find that duking it out in Anatolia alone gives me little resource to campaign away in Europe. Esp THAT! seems rather expanstionist, but yeah, I don't think BYzantium is THAT strong, sure though, I agree Turks could be a bit tougher, like wise the Armenians, they are either angry and take Attalus off me right away, or they are very very pacifist and I roll over their cities with great ease, and they don't seem to have an army in that case either! Armenia's army is either formidable, and hence they are agressive, or pitiful and they give no resistance what so ever...
