Help on Medieval 2 No events!

So i played England campaign and "cheated" so u got awesome money and all events showed up (everything was perfect) then i was like, no and i played France then no events came(with cheats), i wanted to slay all mongols but the didnt turn up not even after 70 turns XD I want to see the mongols. And yes NO event not even "the wind is blah blah" things.

By cheating did you type cheats into the console or did you mod some files?

Yeah don't even know what's he really tryin' to convey. If it's historical events that pop up then simply delete the .cfg file from the main directory.

Yeah, for an example:
The mongol Invasion, there are none, and America isn't coming.
Im on turn 70 and i've cheated by typing it on the console.
Nope i haven't modded anything. But, i played english campaign and everything was ok, but then i played France and Sicily nothing is coming :/.

Only on turn 70? I thought the reforms were much later than that, unless you have changed the timescale.

As far as I am aware, console cheats to not affect events like the mongols and the americas.

I have changed the timescale from
Start=1088 (i think)
Finish= 6000
Started a new campaign with Milan. Because the campaign is sooooo boring without mongols and america :/
I get no warning like, no earthquake, no old man with a book warning.
Nothing. Just income and new missions and recruitment info.

It works now! U had to go to your D:\Program Files (x86)\Medival II Total War (wherever you saved the game)
Then find : medieval2.preference.cfg
Then open it.
Under title:
[game] there's something called "disable_events = 1" Change the number 1 to 0 and it works!
Remember it only works with new saves so all existing can't get it.
