Aruthiel, is there any chance for the beta to come out any time soon? I can't stand waiting!

I can only say that we push developement as hard as we can towards a beta release. We are building a beta build right now and have custom battles going, as well as a campaign map functional in-game. I will not disclose how we will continue to build the beta as for now (something must be kept as a surprise you know) but as I said - we're working hard on factions to get a few more of them complete so we can actually push out a release sooner rather than later.

As VIR and I have explained earlier, the Nargothrond preview is finished, everything is completed except for one last elite unit. The model is completed and the textures are coming along slowly. They're coming along slowly because our 2d artist antkamidiv, who works on Nargothrond, just broke a finger. VIR could have assigned it to me to take over, but me and Antkamidiv have very different styles for texturing and we don't want the last awesome unit to look like a clown

It will have to be a while until our comrade antkamidiv is healed properly And as VIR said earlier, it's possible that you'll see a preview of the Avari Elves before Nargothrond.

To tease you a bit I will admit that the concept of the Avari Elves will be less "high elf" styled such as you saw in Hithlum and the Gondolin preview, but more of a gaul-ish styled faction. They will look more wild but still elegant in their own way. They rely on stealth and archery and not on massive assaults with heavy infantry as for instance Gondolin does. We do our best not only to give you a completely different looking faction, but different gameplay as well so that no faction will play the same as any other. Hopefully we will succeed!
