install instructions:
-create a new file called custommusic in rome total war/data/sounds
-place the musicfiles here. you have to delete the spaces in the titles of the music first.
-copy the descr_sounds_music.txt to rome total war/data (founded in program files/the creative assembly or activision)
-change the name of events.idx to origina_events.idx (found in sound folder)
-IMPORTANT: REMOVE THE events.dat FIRST or it will overwrite your custom files. this file is barely used by the game so you can safely delete it.

-Make ALWAYS a backup from the files you've changed!!

So that's all for now hope you like it and i hope to be here again to tell if i (or we) have made any progress so far.

If you want to add other sounds just remove it from the descr sounds music file and replace it with the one you like. BUT with .mp3 extention!!

Hey, how's the project going so far?
Your other post mentioned you're looking for everything up to and including tutorials. I've just recently figured out many of the basics of RTW modding and found the following link to ba an absolutely invaluable resource.
