In CoW 1.5 quick battle works properly? Today I noticed that AI assigns only 3-4 units for faction, without a clear criterion...
Unit costs are kinda high in CoW which may cause limited units in quick battle. In custom battle, I need to use around 30,000 gold per team to get a good huge battle.
You can adjust the prices for custom battles without interfering with the campaign costs. It may be worth it if you like to play quick battle frequently.

It is quite a bit of work.

Divide by about 10 to get a better value (so just delete the last number of each entry, the few percentages of difference that will create are inconsequential).
Make a backup of the file before attempting this, because the slightest error in these text files can cause the game to crash.

Is it possibile to increase only the money available for the quick battle without changing unit stats?

Just use a simple formula, cut one of the zeros from all the costs for custom battles. It can be done in 15 minutes.
