Ok - you guys have me totally hooked on Arthurian: Total War - this is going to be an incredible mod when it's finished!

Having said that... I went out and ordered a couple "historic" Arthur books, and have read some in the past. Now I'm wondering if there is additional recommended reading to get people ready for this mod.

Here's what I have so far:

Warlord Chronicles by Bernard Cornwell (fiction - but well worth reading!)
Roman Britain and Early England by Peter Hunter Blair (decent enough history)

    On order:
    Arthur's Britain by Leslie Alcock
The Age of Arthur: A History of the British Isles from 350 to 650 by John Morris

    What am I missing?

    Good articles here:

Otherwise, a really good thing is to read about arthurian sources in litterature:
Trioedd Ynys Prydein, The Welsh Triads by Rachel Bronwich (but 90€...)
You can find most of those (but without comments and interpratation) on this excellent website:

Thanks for the link and suggestion. I've starting working on my finance minister (aka wife) regarding The Welsh Triads.
