blackroot vale body guard not respawning

hi i am playing as gondor and my guy with blackroot vale archers for body guards took heavy battle casualties and there is only 32 of them left. they are not refilling the ranks is there a way i can fix this

They are not bodyguards in that sence, more of a normal unit with a general's portrait attached to it. They are not meant to respawn.

It can be modded but it will not be save compatible..Post your EDU(export_desc_unit) and desc_strat and I will do it for you..

You need to add a new special unit for the BG, and change the descr_strat.

Or you can just retrain them IIRC.

Then why Imrahil's bg respawn?Afaik he has a normal swan knights unit as bodyguards.

its Prince Imrahil Royal Guard....they replenish their self in the next turn....

For me blackroot vale archers respawn normaly, but only up to 77 men on huge unit scale.
