A Slave takes the Senator to a large room with many books. Senator Caius is sitting down sipping his wine. He raises his glass into the air before speaking.

" Greetings Senator what can i do for you ?. and please have a seat and some fine wine "

Burcanius sat down
''You are very interesting, Senator. You speak whatever comes to your mind. You got to be more careful as many Senators don't think highly of you.''

Caius listened to the senator. He sipped his fine wine slowly before speaking.

" you have a point their. I do have to watch what I speak and how I speak it. I just do not understand why people are afraid of a Impreachment vote. do they fear the Tribune will be impeached because of his actions. His actions are not Roman like and yet people support him still. I find it odd how he could allow such a thing to happen and yet nobody condems him. What was so bad about our troops fighting gaul ?. "

[Sonke]

''Our troops fighting Gaul. Are you meaning entire Gaul?''

Caius listened to the senator. He sipped his fine wine slowly before speaking. He loved his wine

" I am speaking about our current consul fighting the Gauls. How he could have used the support from our legions from spain but yet did not get them because of the veto by the tribune. The gauls attacked a settlement of ours or was close to anyway and the Tribune would not allow reinforcements to come to that settlements aid. Does this make any sense from a so called Roman Tribune ?. The Tribune would not even answer my question about why he veto the motion "

[Sonke]

''One of the pillars on which our Republic was formed. No man should ever get too much Power. I think the Tribune is afraid of that. He doesn't want to give the Consul so many men. He doesn't trust the Consul and might be afraid of him.''

Caius listened to the senator as he sipped more of his wine. He clapped his hands and ordered his Slave to get his guest some wine.

" But the consul was going to protect the Republic from barbarians. He was going to protect our citizens from danger. How could he let personal fear get in the way of the will of the people. He better pray to the gods that our consul and our men make it home alive. If not.. I fear what could happen to the man if the Plebs where to find out that he allowed the barbarians to kill all of our men because he refused to send Reinforcements when they where asked for "

[Sonke]

''Reinforcements are not so necessary luckily. The Barbarians will be wiped out soon.''

Caius listened to the senator

" Prehaps the gods will be on their side. Then again they always are and you could be correct in that they will not need the reinforcements. Now lets change the Subject. Will you support me if I decided to run for Tribune of the People ? "

[Sonke]

''Yes I would support you.''

[Lord Damien]

Caius listened to the senator and smiled as his slave bought the Senator some wine. He raised his glass in a cheers as he sipped his wine slowly.

" Good that I am glad to hear friend. Now are you planning on running for a office yourself ? "

Gaius Primus arrives at the house of the tribune, seeking an audience.

A Slave takes the Senator to a large room with many books. Senator Caius is sitting down sipping his wine. He stands up and turns to face the Senator.

" Ahh Senator Gaius how may I help you ?

[Pontifex Maximus]

Salve, Caius. I have come here to discuss matter of state and a proposal that could be very beneficial to you and Lucius Libanus.

[Lord Damien]

Caius listened to the senator and sips his wine slowly.

" I am intrested in hearing this proposal of yours. Please have a seat and some wine and lets discuss your proposal " He clapped his hands and a slave appeared and prepared some wine and a chair for the senator

Gaius accepted the wine and took a seat.

You have been sympathetic to Lucius' designs in the past. Therefore he considers the time right to ask of you a favor. First let me impress upon you the weight your decision carries.

Gaius sipped the wine slowly, wetting his tongue so he could continue.
