Two Silvan questions
First off, thanks for keeping this mod alive, guys. Over the years it's gotten even more amazing!
Two quick questions:
1. I'm at around turn 100 and I've yet to be given an option to recruit Ents, no matter which forest I'm in >_<. My understanding is they're simply mercs to be hired?
2. I'm using the baron samedi suite of mods (excellent work, btw), and I'm wondering if there's a more direct way to get the necessary guilds in specific cities? I read somewhere that recruiting certain units may increase the odds, is this accurate? How have you guys reunited the silvan kingdom?

Re: Two Silvan questions
Ask this in his mod forum, Look at your kings traits and you will see what territories and buildings need to be built where to recruit Ents.

Re: Two Silvan questions
Afaik in 3.1 u cant recruit ents as mercs anymore. You have to own fangorn and give them autonomy. Then after 20-30 turns u ll get Ent reinforcements for free.
With BS maybe after reuniting the elven kingdom u can recruit them through a special building.(dont know if this feature is still active).

Re: Two Silvan questions
Autonomy doesn't seem worthwhile to me; after owning Fangorn for several turns I got a message saying some Ents had showed up. 1 unit of Ents appeared in Fangorn, so I added them to my army marching towards Mordor.
Half a dozen or so turns later, just as I'm getting close to my goal, I get a message saying they're tired of war or somesuch, and they leave my army. Buggers.
Immediately lifted autonomy, no Ents for me.

Is there smthng like that?? Tiring from war and leaving you...?? I got 1 unit ents also with Rohan. They are very useful.
I wonder, how did you lift the autonomy? I will go with it if it happens to me

Re: Two Silvan questions
Yea, they will leave you, happened for me when we got into hostile territory. Thinking back on it, they were fine until we left friendly lands.
To lift autonomy after you've granted it, just have a diplomat contact the settlement, and then it wil revert to a typical province.
One thing I have noticed, if you start a building before you grant autonomy, that building will finish construction.
