    Steam: see the first page for the link on how to get a mod working properly.
    Log: please follow the procedure regarding setting the log to trace

    So, I've bit the bullet and got ready to post. I followed your installation instructions on the front page as far as I know, but I clearly dont have the projectile fix fuctioning. I get a CTD whenever a doomdiver, earthshaker, or death rocket fires. I set the log to trace, and generated the crash, as per instructions, but when I went to the log folder in M2TW, my computer says that it's empty. What am I doing wrong with the logs?

    FYI, I installed the 4 quick fixes to the folders mentioned. I'm wondering if I shouldn't have installed them to the M2TW folder like the mod and patches?

    Missing log - that can happen, try to recreate the crash.
    Fixes - place the compressed file in the folder mentioned. Right click the file and choose '[7zip or winrar or winzip]\extract here'

    I re-downloaded the quickfixes into the specified folders, re-created the CTD, and the log remains empty. I'm at a loss.

    I did everything I said in the previous post again this morning. I'm really sad, because I love this mod and it doesn't look like I'm going to be able to enjoy it. and I can't even tell you guys why.

    Do we need all 4 Kingdoms campaigns to run this mod? I'm thinking about uninstalling some of them.

    Open the CFG file of RodG with Notepad and check\change this entry:

    [log]
    to = logs/M2TW.system.log.txt
    level = * trace

    After that you should find the log in the Medieval II Total War\logs folder

    As long as the kingdoms.exe file remains in the base folder you should have no problem. It can be assumed that the uninstalling of the last kingdoms mod will remove it, so better have a copy of the EXE somewhere else in case you delete it.

    Hi Gigantus, it´s a great mod of the mod, I like the new map textures, they are less hard to stand that old. I have only one question, I installed all right ( all working without errors) but when I start the game I see the version of CoW is correct (1.5.1) and your mod is Gig 1.1.00 . Is this a error or I do something wrong? Excuse me if that is a noob question ( I try to guess that 1.5 is the 1.05 and you update to 1.1.00 but... well, better ask that remain in the ignorance x_x). Thanks for all and good luck! Keep modding !

    Pd: Only to know, there is a compilation of portraits to unit and/or generals that you can do or you know? I change some with other mods in this forum but some general pics are a little strange in vanilla :s

    After installing your patch my mouse no longer functions properly in battles, I can't create a drag box, to select multiple units, which wouldn't be a problem except that I can't drag to lengthen/form lines either, so I can't change my army's formation. This occurs in both campaign and custom battles, and wasn't present until I installed the patch, unpatched it was just fine.

    Any clues on what I could do? BTW It's not a big deal for me to do a clean install since I just installed the mod, just wondering if there's a simpler fix.

    1.5.1 - official patch version of the original installation
    1.1.0.0 - my version history

    I don't know what kind of portraits you are looking for, feel free to change any portraits you like.

    I am not sure if that is mod related - are you having the same issue in the 'normal' campaign?

    Nope, the mouse still functions properly in the vanilla game, and in Third Age total war which I also have installed. Plus like I said it was working in Rage of the Dark Gods, but after I installed the patch, I can no longer make drag boxes or stretch/shorten lines. I can still rotate formations/lines and select individual units but that's it.

    Must have just been a weird glitch, I started the game this morning and all worked well, which is weird since I restarted a few times last night and got nowhere.

    I got a question about dark elves , recruitment of soldiers always disappears after a few turns, maybe around turn 18, then after maybe 5 turns or more, i didnt count , it comes back normal, i saw the culture it says +8 for my settlement, but the previous turn i had 3 max available units for hire of that type , then after that, it disappears, only able to recruit boats and agents, i didnt take notice though is it after i taken a few empire towns, please help if possible, thanks.

    Thanks for the great work done!

    Hey Gigantus how come everytime I install your RodG(also install the 1.5.5 patch) and go to the ui/unit_info/(any faction folder) that there is only the agents .tga but no other .tga files in there however when in-game, the units have there unit info picture?
    Did you cut out the pictures from the installer or are they hidden somewhere in the computer?

    The EDU uses this entry: "info_pic_dir merc" which forces the use of the merc folder for the info pic - hence you will find them all in the ui\unit_info\merc folder. I didn't see why these 'generic' pics should be in every faction folder and bloat the download by 25*92MB = 2300MB before compression as is the case in the original download.

    @Gigantus:
    Thanks Gig.

    @anyone: I hate to be the 1,000+ person to ask this question but, has anyone found the solution to the god awful crash that's about the enemy/ally's reinforcements during a battle yet? I really hate that bug.(and thankfully I'm not the only one here that hates it)

    @Gigantus(again): Where in the EDU do you put that "info_pic_dir merc code" at?

    Thanks
