Hey I have a question about your version Giga in compassion with the one I'm using. You see, i downloaded my CoW and its fixes from this site:
    http://empiretw.ru/board/index.php?showtopic=24936
Well, after some inital install isuess that i fixed on my own, at random times during the campaign map, be it my turn (or much more often then not) during an enemy's turn, the game crashes with that werid error "Sigma save us.. the chaos gods" blah blah blah. Is this version I'm using any different then yours? Or am I doomed to be playing a game that crashes randomly during the enemy's turn? (I don't need to tell you how frustrating it is to fight a few battles after an enemy attacks me, only to have the game crash before I'm allowed to save the bloody game.)

Patch is available as regular download - all fixes are there (in the second post) as attachments:

The Russian version is not compatible with my version, it's instability is the reason why I worked over it and released as 'Rage of dark Gods'

Hi! I'm having the "Sigma preserva us, Chaos has taken over!" error.

I have the big torrent install with all the three things installed, the game works perfect except of this.
It happens when I try to play a battle with reinforcements, in this case I am reinforcing an allie, already played the battle but when loading the campaign bach... pooof, gone again, now it doesn't even load anymore...
My computer is really good, so that is not the case.

I have already read around tons of people with the same problem, but haven't read a single good solution, that's why I post it again, maybe I haven't seen it.

    Pic of the error: http://i45.tinypic.com/288b8dt.png

And I would add the .cfg file but it's 7,50mb and doesn't allow me to upload it :/

I'm just downloaded it and installed the patch and all the hotkeys as well as the 3 parts. All of this in order. And this is what is happening. http://tinypic.com/r/2h588s3/4

Have you followed the tutorial correctly?
Is the mod in the correct folder?
    Step by step instruction

    1. Run your game at least once before installing any mods (thanks bohema)
    2. Make sure you run this program as administrator
    3. Install your brand new mod, but make sure to change your install directory as follows:

    32-bit Windows Users:
    From - C:\Program Files\SEGA\Medieval II Total War
    To - C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\medieval ii total war
    64-bit Windows Users:
From - C:\Program Files (x86)\SEGA\Medieval II Total War
To - C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\medieval ii total war

Hello Mr. Gigantus, I would like to know if its possible for you to give me access to the full animation folder?

I'm currently working on a submod and i need to edit the skeleton.txt but without the full animation folder I cant (?) since I wont be able to delete and rebuild the .idx/.dat files right?.

(I'm talking about the warhammer animations folder not the vanilla one obviously)

If no, is there an alternative methode or tool to extract them (a safe and user friendly one if possible) , IDX extractor looked a bit ''scary'' for non-expert user at 1rst glance.

PS: sry if my english is lacking

The idx extractor by Vencingetorix is the only option (requires python lower then version 2.9). To make it less scary simply copy the folder that contains the animations somewhere else and then use the extractor there.

I installed the mod, started a game as ostland, I was able to fight a field battle against the beastmen no CTDs or anything, however I sieged their city then at the end of the turn "sigmar preserve us" I have it on steam with everything installed, patches hotfixes etc.

system.log.zip Here is the zip file of the error.....judging by what im seeing it would appear the install is off. I downloaded and put all 3 parts/patches/hotfixes(used bit torrent) in my medieval total war 2 folder(it auto put everything in the mod folder, my comp was being dumb with the kingdoms steam launcher app I just renamed the rage of the dark gods folder "teutonic" to trick the launcher into launching the mod as opposed to the kingdoms campaign). I was playing as the dwarves and got into a battle around wusterburg(something like that its near the two SW dwarven cities), there was an imperial garrison in the city and my forces were outside of it helping fight 2 orc stacks. I didn't have a log of yesterday's CTD I just used one that occurred today.
