    If you send it to the main directory, then how do you access the files for the mod? I sent them there and it seems they get scattered, ending up in folders that are already there, like the data folder for M2TW. Do you create a folder and put them in there?

    Simply follow the instructions in the first post for the main installation:
    Recommendation:

    Installation:

    1. Download the torrent file and extract it (size of installation set up: 15 files, 5.03GB)
    2. Run the torrent file with your preferred torrent client
    3. Run the EXE of part1 (DO files will be installed automatically)
    4. Run the EXE of part2 (DO files will be installed automatically)
    5. Run the EXE of part3 (DO files will be installed automatically)
    6. Download and install the patches
    7. Start the game

    Remarks for installation:

    • It should not be necessary to change the install directory unless it shows 'MyProduct' in the path. This means that the registry entry could not be found - either the registry is faulty or you are running a 64 bit system.
    • Do not cancel the installation unless you get an error message or your hard drive light has stopped flickering – some files are very big and it might appear that the installer is frozen.
    • If ‘MyProduct’ shows in the path, point the installer to the main directory of M2TW, not the mods directory!

    The installation may seem frozen at some stage - that is due to a huge file being installed, be patient and don't cancel!!

    Then install the Patch and Fixes, they each have info as well.

    Hi. I keep getting the "sigma preserve us, etc" - error about turn three. It doesnt matter what faction i play, i still get the error ( the longest campaign i've ever had is about 6 turns). I'm using Gigantus' rodg and i followed the easy and painfree installation to the letter. Iæve event unsintalled the mod, dowloaded it again and instaalled it all over again (in case some files were missing). I play i through steam. I would really appreciate some help. Here is the log i found in the log folder.

    Well, i cant edit my post, so please ignore my horrible spelling. I just wanted to add that the sigma-error happens while its the ai's turn.

    Did you apply the quickfixes from the 2nd post? It seems your descr_strat isn't the one from that post, as you're getting errors that shouldn't be showing up. Every time you install one, there should be a warning about overwriting.

    Let's see...

    I use RoDG 1.51 with your fixes

    Dark Elf Shades are missing their torsos - kind of weird, don't you think? ;

    After upgrading their armor, Kislev spearmen and halberds look, well, just plain retarded, irregardless of my graphics settings (currently on high);

    Ostland spearmen are incredibly weak - superior attack, defense skill, armor and shield compared to regular spearmen, but they lose, every single time against them, and well, most other units :/
    Very strange for guys wearing full plate armor. Was that planned or something got screwed in the unit stats?
    Also, they appear much shorter than other human units, could be my imagination though. EDIT: It was my imagination, caused by their evident inferiority;

    Grundel's defenders and Sterntower marksmen are missing officers. Planned or error? Seems strange to me, since most imperial units have officers, excluding knights, greatswords, etc who are supposed to be bands of skilled and motivated troops anyway, and require very little officer "encouragement";

    Dwarf grudgethrower causes "Sigmar preserve us" CTDs (awesome idea to blame it on Chaos lol) 100% of the time. Other artillery units - mostly imperial cannons caused this all the time as well, but after applying one of your fixes, it became rarer and playable, as long as I stay away from the stunties.

    If you need screenshots and logs, please notify me. I'll do my best to help you help me.

    EDIT - remembered something: Sometimes, I don't get the extra experience bonus that the high tier barracks offer to recruited units. Don't see a pattern, though. It's highly uneconomical, it forces me to waste time and money retraining them.

    You will need to generate a 'trace' log - check in the first post the 'error reporting' section on how to do it.

    Would anyone happen to have a clean copy of the RodG export_descr_unit and battle_models.moddb? I'd like them to make a cleaner download for my submod, and don't particularly want to download the whole torrent again just for that. Thanks.

    Hello I'm new to this forum, I'm from Paris France. I've played a lot on my 1.4.4 version of this fantastic mod and even if 1.6 may be released soon I've decided to download the 1.5 version. I'm lost with the Mirror one wich is hard and painful so I've decided to try this one. But I have a problem I just can't open this Zip file with my bit torent. I've extracted Poxo's torrent and dowloaded the mod with it but when I clic on the icon the game doesn't want to start because of the "kindoms.exe" that cannot be found. Please is anybody has a solution to my problem ? How to open and extract this torrent or to run the game I've already installed ?

    It seems that a battle between AI factions is causing the crash. Very difficult to trace that error. One possibility would be to lift the fog of war and follow the moves to see what army\faction is involved. But even then it's not guaranteed to be the solution to the problem, unless it is a scripted attack, maybe on a settlement.

    I did as you said, Gigantus. I did 2 games two see if i could find out what was going on. The first time, the game crashed when reikland attacked a beastman army at bögenhafen. The second time i didnt see an attack, but still got the "sigma"-error. The line "[data.transgression] [info] Applied transgression TC_UNDECLARED_ATTACK from transgressor faction (numbers) and faction (numbers)" is recurring in the last 2 logs ive gooten. Its the faction numbers that keep changing.

    I wonder if version 1.4 might work better?

    Just wanted to say THANK YOU! I am back to playing the mod and your installation worked flawlessly. Thank you for all the work that you have put into this for us.

    I have Windows 7 and steam.

    Note for others: the autosave works great for the random ctds at end of turn.

    DId you do anything special? Or did you just install all the files and everything worked perfectly?

    1. You have to install each of the three installers separately. Each part has to be installed on its own. Before, I didnt realized this and installed only the first part. So I was getting a lot of ctd just starting the game.
    2. Next, I installed the 1.5.1 patch.
    3. Then I installed all the update files. There are like 4 of them.

    I did not install any of Kav's building improvements. That was crashing me before.

    For steam, I used the launcher. It works great.

    If you get a ctd at end of turn, simply use the autosave. It takes into the next turn. It's has been great.

    I was also able to edit the EDU and other files with no problems.

    Editing the EDU allows you to change unit stats. For example, I gave most 2nd-tier dwarfs very_hardy trait. I also reduced their upkeep. Otherwise, it was just impossible to field more than 2 armies. 500 upkeep for an elder unit that really has only good armor was too much.

    It seems that you can CTD during the end-of-turn, but the autosave is able to move you to the next turn, no problems. This has happened to me at least 12 times.

    Other things that may have help with my current working install is that I moved the "steam" directory outside of program files. Once you move it outside of the program files directory, just run steam (using windows explorer and clicking on the steam.exe). It will update your registry and recognize all games again. I think with how many subdirectories and long names in RODG, some of the files might have become corrupted.
