    LINK

I just thought this was a rather interesting and also rather funny thing going on. It's a bit odd to say the least, but it is a rare opportunity to get a more direct perspective of many mainland Chinese, even if many may be exaggerating for theatric effect. They're calling it the Occupy Internet or something along those lines .

You can see all this if you go on Obama's page. It's somewhat fun to read. There's a lot of people also advertising their condos . Some cheer the communist party, and others call for the "liberation of China" in addition to saying "want green card"

How sure is the PRC counter intelligence that classified information isn't being transmitted in the guise of trolling some foreign head of state?

I predict at the Monday morning press release the White House takes full credit for the glitch to prove what a champion of human rights Barry O. is.
"Every idea is an incitement. It offers itself for belief and if believed it is acted on unless some other belief outweighs it or some failure of energy stifles the movement at its birth. The only difference between the expression of an opinion and an incitement in the narrower sense is the speaker's enthusiasm for the result. Eloquence may set fire to reason." -Oliver Wendell Holmes Jr.

Chinese internet world is actually pretty hilarious. 500-600 million people are online, with actually pretty lax restrictions in spreading of information. It is changing China very rapidly and forcing the government officials to respond to popular sentiments differently because there is no way to suppress information's spread on internet.

It is very hard to censor Chinese, because its writings are not sound-based, unlike english. There are often words with same sound but different writings, so word-play of this nature is frequent.

For example, your mother in Chinese is cao-ni-ma. The government tried to censor dirty terms like this once. But there are many words with the same sound as cao, or ni, or ma. So netizens combined those other words into various hilarious phrases to replace the old cao-ni-ma, making censoring those words totally useless.

A bit of a laugh - the below picture is the embodiment of this new "caonima" that was coined by the online Chinese. The characters literally translate to "grass and mud horse" but sound exactly like before:
