Family generals guards (?)
I just finished playing Britons, and it was a bit easymode really :original:
I now started a campaign as Romans. One huge difference between Britons and Romans are their generals guards.
Britons start off with a base of 54, and this gets adjusted by security traits and so on. Most of my Briton family had 52 or more guards. As I said, easy mode. I could wipe out 3 full stacks of enemies with one stack of just family generals in one turn
Rome on the other hand. My leader has like 38 guards, and the rest has around 18 guards. Is it supposed to be this small? What other factors control the size of the guards for Romans?
Or are the Britons never really supposed to have a base of 54 guards, as I suspect? :original:

Re: Family generals guards (?)
the difference is that britons have chariots as guards and all the other factions have horsemen, who were reduced in numbers like the other cavalry. i guess that Dime didn't reduce the chariots for some reason

Re: Family generals guards (?)
There may have been a reason, but I can't remember what it was.
I'll cut back the Briton's guard size as well.

Well, britons as faction will be short lived anyways, so they won't last for long...
