ARGHH Annoying Technical Issues!

Hi all, I am having some very annoying problems with RTW Gold, I am about 60 years into one of my Julii Campaigns and It has been working fine for a few months, but suddenly today, when I try to play, it starts up my campaign and is fine for about one minute and then, freeze. Then RTW Closes and says that there was some type of error, I have tried loading my campaign about 10 times and it keeps happening! Barbarian invasion works perfectly and cutsom battle, historic battle and other campaigns are working fine on RTW, apart from the one Campaign I was focusing on GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR.... Can anyone help?
(P.S. I am utterly useless at anything to do with computers so please don't tell me to look at the files and recode or somthing like that!)

Corrupted save file it sounds like, can you load a previous same from that campaign?

Sorry but that's not what it sounds/looks like i'm afraid.

A corrupted save game will crash on loading and not a minute after being loaded.

@Fides - does it crash while you are doing nothing for a minute or does it occur
when you do something (e.g: press end turn or move a unit etc.)?

You could try to load the campaign, save it to another file, close RTW, and then load your new save. You could also try to start a battle quickly, maybe that would help.

After I try to move somthing. I have had a poke around and it only crashes on one save point, when I play my campaign at an earlier date it starts fine. I have abandonned 10 years of my campaign but at least I still have somthing. Thanks for your suggestions though!
