    Default Making General's more Responsive ?

    Hi there,


    It has always frustrated me how unresponsive Cavalry are in M2TW. The animations look horrible as they seem to jitter/stagger about. When cavalry turn around, it looks like they are spinning on some kind of axle, the way they move looks too mechanical and fake, not to mention the atrocious path-finding. I feel every aspect of them is a downgrade from RomeTW. At least in Rome they moved with some fluidity and actually responded to orders with some sense of haste.



    I understand what CA was trying to achieve here, but imo they failed miserably. Does anyone know of some tweaks that might fix some of these issues ?

    you could try lowering the mass in descr_mount.txt, although that might affect how effective a charge is

    That is a good suggestion, although i'm not sure it's worth it at the risk of making their charge weaker. I will have to find out for sure if Mass effects charge somehow.
