Default Launcher error when trying to launch any campaign from the launcher

Basically when I try launching a campaign from the launcher I get these error messages:

    Code:
    [ErrorReports]
Error1/3=You don't have Roma Surrectum II installed in the correct folder. (C:\Program Files (x86)\The Creative Assembly\Rome - Total War)
    Error2/3=Engine: RomeTW-BI.exe, Faction campaign: -mod:play_rome
    Error3/3=In total: 'RomeTW-BI.exe -mod:play_rome -show_err -nm -movie_cam'
Since I have installed the files in the correct place and I can play the game via the batch files and change the graphics options from the launcher, my general assumption is that the launcher is incorrect. However if it is my fault in any way I would appreciate it if someone told me what I have neglected to do.

All of my game installs are clean and fully patched. Using Windows 7 OS and the RomeTW-BI.exe. And I am running admin.
    Path:
    C:/Program Files (x86)/The Creative Assembly/Rome - Total War/

This prevents me from using the Five Good Emperors sub mod campaign and is just a general inconvience so any help would be great.

there comes a launcher with FGE which adds the campaign in the selectable options...it must obvioulsy replace the vanilla launcher in the launcher folder
download FGE launchr here > Attachment 206651

and btw..you have to change the ubication of RTW folder as in programs it can get messy with win7 and UAC...
    make another folder..example

C:/Games/ and mover all your games into there > just open a second window and drag and drop to new folder, no need to reinstall
here an example of my C
    Attachment 206652

reason is that in win7 even as administrator it can create problems saving a game as the UAC will prevent an exe to write anything into Programs as it is a system relevant folder

Cheers, that would also explain why the launcher worked perfectly fine when I had XP as the OS. The UAC and all the ownership rights really irritate me.

    And I cannot +rep you

It still seems to be broken, but I'll reinstall everything into the GAMES folder to see if it was just a buggy install.

EDIT: Yeah, the launcher works fine now but the Five Emperors CTDs after the RSII loading still/picture. I will check that it is fully updated.

EDIT NO.2: I think it was because I was being a noob and forgot to re-patch RSII up to 2.1a when I re-installed everything. All is well now. Cheers.
