third age total war question

Ive been playing third age total war 3.1 and i found its a very good and great mod.But i want to know if i can and how to increase the unit size,because i want to play battles with more troops.Pls can u tell me how to increase the unit size

What do you mean with bigger unit size? TATW is already on huge unit size and there are units with the maximum number of soldiers of 250 (yes 3 officers possible for people wanting to say that) so they can't be made bigger. You can edit unit size in the EDU (export_descr_unit), the file is pretty selfexplanatory but you can't make the number of soldiers more then 100 is the file (it takes I think small unit size and huge is 2,5 times bigger then the value you see).

well a sub mod for medieval 2 total war would be nice;to make unit size beyond huge by that i mean like 500 troops in 1 unit not to make the troops larger

I'm no expert modder, but I'm fairly sure thats beyond the limits of M2TW's engine. 100 is the unit cap. Your game might crash if you have too many units fighting in one area during a battle.

Well, 253 on huge is the cap actually but that would be 100 on small.
250 soldiers and 3 officers/banner carriers.
