Default House of Reeves Arsonist Pleads Guilty

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-london-17154157

The pictures of this fire were some of the most iconic images of last year's riots. I truly felt for the family who had owned and ran this shop for almost 150 years. Their dignity displayed throughout is an example to us all.

I hope the scum gets sent to prison for a very long time.

Everybody was doing it. Peer pressure ure pushed him to the Dark Side.

Anyway, how long is the usual sentence for an arsonist?

He was told by the judge to expect a long prison sentence. The punishment for arson is life imprisonment, but he managed to get out of the more serious offence of arson with intent to harm others so his sentence could be reduced to 10 years max. Then again he has the burglary charges which can also carry several years imprisonment and judges have given harsh sentences to the looters.
